A Chartered Accountant since 1980 with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), John has over 30 years of accounting, auditing and consultancy experience. He is a Public Accountant and practicing member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). After training in London, he joined a major international accounting firm in Singapore as a senior member in the audit division. He then left the profession for commercial experience as finance director of a group of shipping companies for four years.
Rejoining the profession in 1986, he was a manager for one and a half years in the insolvency division of an international accounting firm undertaking several assignments including the liquidation of a large chain of department stores.
John has been a partner of the firm since 1988.
Jen Howe is a Public Accountant and practicing member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He trained in London with a major international accounting firm and also holds a Master of Science from the London Business School.
For two years he was with the corporate finance department of a London-based investment bank, working primarily in the Eurodollar market. Returning to Singapore, he became a senior lecturer at the National University of Singapore before joining a regional business group with interests ranging from shipping to computers.

Jing Yun is our audit partner and has accumulated over 10 years of audit, consultancy and tax related experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Malaya and is a Public Accountant and practicing member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants as well as an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Jing Yun started her career in audit in a major international accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, before joining Thong & Lim.
Jing Yun has been a partner of the firm since 2014.
Shaun is a Public Accountant and practicing member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). Having worked with clients from a wide range of industries, Shaun has over 13 years of audit, assurance and consultancy experience, including stints overseas in London and locally in Army logistics. He also functions as the firm’s technical helpdesk, providing technical updates and training, and had a hand in implementing the firm’s quality control policies and procedures under the SSQC 1 framework.
Shaun is a Partner of the firm and also Director of Thong & Lim Consultants.
A Public Accountant and practicing member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, as well as an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Huann Siang started his career in an audit firm in Petaling Jaya Malaysia which was an ACCA platinum approved learning partner, for 4 years before joining Thong & Lim. Huann Siang has over 13 years of accounting, auditing and tax related experience.
Huann Siang has been a partner of the firm since 2023.
